To avoid a shit ton of bullshit… its simple: don’t get married. Because then you go through divorce and take it out on your child(ren) for always being quiet, and never home because you accuse them of thinking about no one but themselves. you wonder why they’re never home… because they don’t want to go through the bullshit of hearing about the people they spent your whole life with, then in a week, they’re gone.
